Daniel Klawitter

Daniel is an award-winning poet and the lead singer/lyricist of the Indie-Rock band, Mining for Rain. He has read from his work on live public radio and had his poems anthologized in poetry collections released by Lost Tower Publications as well as in an Editor's Choice edition by Pulse: Voices from the Heart of Medicine. He has a BA in Religion Studies with a minor in Theater Arts from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico and a M.Div degree with a concentration in Justice and Peace studies from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO. His individual poems have been published widely in numerous respectable literary journals and magazines in Australia, the UK and the U.S. He is included in the directory of the Colorado Poets Center and is also a member of the Academy of American Poets.
